Having a toddler is THE BEST. It's also the most frustrating, but it's so fun at the same time that it all kind of evens out.
Julian is eating food like he may never seen his next meal. Until he decides he's done, that is, and then he'll sweep anything remaining off his tray and onto the floor. (This is darling. Obviously.) He'll eat just about anything, though! We're trying to enjoy that while it lasts. His favorite things are baked apples, and frozen mango, and cheese.
He's learning baby sign language at daycare! That's pretty magical—the part where someone else teaches my kid cool new stuff. All the signs he's actually using are food-related. #thatsmyboy. So far he signs:
- All done
He's been walking for about 2 months, so he's super mobile. He loves walking so much. I think he's gotten happier and happier each time he's gotten more mobile... rolling, crawling, walking, RUNNING. He was in constant motion, and constantly kicking the $*&^ out of my ribs, before he was born. So I think he was kinda pissed when he was born and couldn't move on his own. The more he can move, the happier he is!
Here's a little video of him playing at the park yesterday. Easy like Sunday morning...
Julian, you are the coolest kid I know. Keep growing. Just not too fast.
